Badges

With the most badges to earn of any section, Scouts can grow and develop new and existing skills, as they move further along their journey at the 9th. Each award provides exciting opportunities to experience something new!

Staged Activity Badges

Earn higher stages of each staged activity badge, to boost your skills not just in scouting, but in the wider world. If you do an activity in your spare time, let us know, you might be able to earn a badge today!

Challenge badges

Nine Challenge badges are needed to earn the Chief Scout Gold award, the highest honour a scout can receive. From overnight hiking expeditions to setting personal goals, and even running a meeting for our troop, these badges will push you and give you experiences like never before!

Activity Badges

With a whopping 59 activity badges, and each badge having both an instructor and plus variant, there is something for everyone to enjoy! Get on the water with the Dragon Boating badge, or become a public relations guru with the Media Relations and Marketing badge!

The most difficult journey yet, the Chief Scout Gold is an award that only truly determined Scouts achieve. All nine challenge badges must be earned, as well as six activity badges. The skills you will develop completing this award will carry you through the rest of your life!

Where do badges go?

Any badges you collect on camps should not be placed on uniform, instead put them on your camp blanket, and show off at our next camp!
